EtymologyFeaturesThe Rock lobster has a hard segmented exoskeleton that protects their soft inner bodies, which they shed during a process called moulting. The colour of their exoskeleton is dark red to dirty orange. They have five walking legs and two large antennae, which they use to feel and detect prey in the water.
